ReciProty respects your privacy. This policy explains how your information is protected, collected, and used in conjunction with the operation of ReciProty’s website,, and any related online materials and services, as such items may be modified from time to time (collectively, the “Site”). ReciProty may modify its policy from time to time at its sole discretion. It is your responsibility to review ReciProty’s Privacy Policy for any changes each time you use the Site.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that ReciProty does not own or control, or to people that ReciProty does not directly employ or manage. The Site contains links to service providers, retailers, and other websites. ReciProty is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of such other parties.


ReciProty collects personal information when you create an account and when you visit or use the Site. ReciProty may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from other sources. When you form an account with ReciProty and sign in to the Site, you are not anonymous to us.

When you create an account, we ask for personal information such as your name, email address, password, and security question and answer. Depending on your use of the Site, we might also ask for your business address and details about your business, birth date, telephone numbers, credentials, and other information. The Site gives you the option of providing substantial additional information about yourself.

ReciProty may also collect information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners and other members, including information about your use of financial products and services.

Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to offer members peace of mind knowing that they are interacting with other members in a safe and trustworthy environment. Participation is very important on the Site. You agree that ReciProty may use your personal information to contact you for any reason and for the following:

  • Provide an environment in which all members can feel safe.
  • Prevent prohibited or illegal activities and enforce our Terms of Use.

Also, any time you use the Site, ReciProty automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including such information as your IP address, Internet Service Provider (ISP), cookie information, referring/exit pages, software and hardware attributes, and the pages you request. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the Site, prevent fraud and other misconduct, ensure compliance with Terms of Use, track visitor movement in the aggregate, gather broad demographic information, and comply with legal requirements or for other lawful purposes.

We do not intend to collect information from minors. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will promptly take all reasonable measures to delete that data from our systems.


All information that is required to create an account, excluding password-related information, or that you choose to display on the Site will be displayed for other members to view. This includes performance, recommendations, and comments written or given by other members. Any such non-password-related information made available on ReciProty can be accessed by all members of ReciProty. Once you give your personal information, you are not anonymous to us or other members. Such information can be redistributed without limitation, and if you choose to provide us with personal information, you consent to the storage and transfer of that information by ReciProty and other members.

Without limiting the foregoing, ReciProty may share your information under the following circumstances:

  1. We may provide the information to trusted companies who work on behalf of or with ReciProty under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help ReciProty communicate with you about ReciProty’s services. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
  2. We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
  3. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities; suspected fraud; threats to the rights, property, or personal safety of any person; violations of ReciProty’s Terms of Use; or as otherwise required by law.
  4. We may transfer information about you if ReciProty is acquired by or merged with another company, or as part of a broader transfer of substantially all business assets. In this event, you will be notified before information about you becomes subject to a substantially different privacy policy.
  5. In response to customer service or account matters being handled by our employees or third parties with whom we contract under confidentiality agreement.
In addition, we may provide non-personally identifiable statistics, unique identifiers, demographic, and other anonymous information to advertisers, service and retail providers, and other third parties.



ReciProty may set and access “cookies” on your computer. We use cookies to keep track of some types of information while you are using the Site. Cookies are very small files placed on your computer, and they allow us to count the number of visitors to our Site and distinguish repeat visitors from new visitors. They also allow us to save member preferences and track usage trends. We rely on cookies for the proper operation of our Site; therefore, if your browser is set to reject all cookies, the Site will not function properly. Users who refuse cookies assume all responsibility for any resulting loss of functionality.


To process purchases or fees, we will require your name, address, phone number, email address, credit card information, and age verification. ReciProty does not disclose credit card information to third parties except as is necessary to complete the transaction you authorize.


You can generally edit or delete your account information at any time. Becoming a Site member means sharing information about yourself with other members, communicating with them, and working privately on your own. By default, your account is set up to share the information that we have found most members are interested in sharing. But, the amount and type of additional information you decide to share, and with whom you share it, is generally up to you, except as required for the Site to function.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Site, such as service announcements and administrative messages, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.


Your non-public information is provided to employees who we believe reasonably need access to such information in order to provide products or services to you or in order to otherwise perform their jobs. ReciProty takes steps to protect your information but cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant that any information that you wish to provide to us will be secure. All information posted or transmitted to or through the Site is at your own risk.
